Our Presenters

Angel Baby Network helps support families who have lost infant children. The group works to connect bereaved families to social services in the community, and hosts meetings to let families know that they aren't alone. Funding from Fuel the Fire will help the group expand its reach and provide care packages for families who have recently experienced a loss.

Scrap It Up is a creative reuse center, a place to find, donate, and be inspired by a myriad of art, craft, and just plain cool materials! The group's mission is to encourage sustainable behavior and creativity by diverting materials from the waste stream for use as low-cost supplies in creative reuse projects. A grant from Fuel the Fire will provide funds for necessary infrastructure and broaden the organization's reach into the greater Cincinnati region.

STEM2DREAM Foundation provides K-12 hands-on Engineering and Technology programs, making math and science both fun and interesting. STEM2DREAM is advocating a community approach to “Give Our Youth the ABILITY to Dream.” Funding from Fuel the Fire will go towards curriculum and materials for the organization's STEM programming.

Walnut Hills Community Garden aims to fill the gap created when the Kroger in Walnut Hills closed, making Walnut Hills a food desert. The project has created a network of community gardens to help fill this growing need. Funding from Fuel the Fire would be used to create an urban orchard to provide healthy food for the Walnut Hills community.

West End Art Gallery's goal is to bring an art gallery to the West End of Cincinnati. The gallery will be an open space to create and display art. West End Art Gallery will also hold exhibitions and workshops featuring all kinds of original art work. Funding from Fuel the Fire will help pay for a gallery/workshop space, along with utilities and art supplies.
