Ever wonder if your idea could have a major impact on our city? We did too.
Fuel Cincinnati® is the grant-making arm of Give Back Cincinnati, the region’s largest young professional organization. In 2009, a group of Give Back Cincinnati volunteers wanted to provide funding for promising non-profit local initiatives. With support from the Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr. U.S. Bank Foundation, the Mayerson Foundation and a great team of volunteers, this idea transformed from a scribble on a napkin to a living organization that ignites great ideas.
Now that the program is in full swing, Fuel Cincinnati is helping others’ ideas come to life, all the time. Fuel Cincinnati provides real dollars, real connections and real support for real ideas, in a nontraditional way: Fuel Cincinnati projects are chosen by a committee whose members are part of the same demographic it serves.
Always on the lookout for fresh and innovative ideas, developed either for or by young professionals–ages 18 to 40–in Greater Cincinnati, Fuel Cincinnati focuses on funding projects inclusive of one or more of the following four core areas:
Education • Community Building • Environment • Diversity
So, let’s say you have a great idea and maybe you’re not sure exactly how to pull it off. Maybe you’re looking for some direction, technical assistance, volunteers or funding to get it off the ground. It’s time to connect with Fuel Cincinnati.
